INDONESIA
The sheer size of INDONESIA is mindboggling, so large it offers the
visitor a very individual experience. Whether shopping, visiting temples,
enjoying the beaches and resorts in Bali, or venturing further to
discover remote villages or the jungles of Borneo and Papua, the visitor
is sure to be overwhelmed by Indonesia's diversity. Parts of the archipelago
are still vast, barely explored regions of dense jungle, massive mountains
and volcanoes. Visitors may see fiery tropical sunsets, bird sized
butterflies, and prehistoric Komodo dragons, across more than 17 000
islands - more than one third of which are uninhabited. more... |
